I'm still looking at a battery improvement or mod.

I've seen pics of the GS Matrix Telescope on the POTV forum, but haven't been able to source much info on them.

Anyone using one or know enough about them to explain in a little more detail as to the benefits of one, how they work, and would you give it a high rating or recommend using one please?

Any help, info and advise appreciated, thanks :-) .

Got one of those from http://paradisevapeuk.vstore.ca/ . They are in effect one step up from your normal ego-t manual battery. They allow you to use 3 different size batteries which will give you varying amounts of vaping time. The battery can be charged in a battery charger which come's with the kit or by using your normal usb charger. Using a sequence of clicks you can up the voltage from 3.4 to 3.7 and then to 4.0. If you are looking at moving up from the standard kit then this gives you a first experience of using other batteries. This is a lovely looking piece of kit and always attracts comments but to be honest an ego twist or vision spinner will give you the same function of variable voltage and at a cheaper price. It has the same eGo/510 end fitting so will take all the normal tanks and attys you already have. Would I recommend them?, they are well made and look great but I feel that after a couple of weeks of use you will be looking at the next step just as I did so why not bite the bullet and plump for a vamo. The going rate for the GS Telescopic seems to be about 35 quid, for an extra 5 pound you can pick up a vamo from Stealthvape.

Hope this helps.

@MrDeseVaper has one i believe :)

Again, thank you for replying m8 :-) .

I've taken the plunge lol, and I've decided upon an "Innokin iTaste MVP". They are a little bit pricey, but after spending the day watching dozens of videos on these things, especially the videos uploaded by people that have been given one to test for review purposes, none of them could fault them at all and they all rated them very highly indeed.

If anyone is interested, I'll post up how I'm getting on with it later on.

Due to personal circumstances (I'm a disabled war pensioner), I'm often stuck at home for most of the time, so the larger size of this battery will actually be ideal; especially with the higher resistance of the MT3's that the Ego 650mAh struggle with a little. I've also ordered some 1100mAh twist batteries that should allow me to get the best out of the MT3's. The 650mAh batteries are still perfect for the CE5's, so they'll still be well used too.

If this new Innokin Itaste MVP works well, I may even consider a second one in the future.

I've spent a little more cash on this upgrade than I would have originally preferred, but, if these vaping products continue to completely cut out the need for real tobacco, then ultimately it is money well spent. Having one or two of these Itaste MVP's also opens the door for me to try a different type of tank in the future that I often read about that some of you "vaping pro's" are using and rate highly.

These gadgets are amazing and work way beyond what I ever expected. After years of trying to quit tobacco and repeatedly failing using conventional NRT methods, I still can't quite believe that since beginning to use these products, I have absolutely NO desire at all for real tobacco, and I'd probably end up being sick if I did smoke a cigar now lol :-) .

Cheers :-) .

Hi
Nice piece of kit, something I have looked at previously. The trouble with vaping is that you loose the need for analogues but then become addicted to shinyitis. Over the last 3 months I have tried the normal ego kits, twist batteries, CE4/5 clearomizers, kanger evod, vision vivi mini nova, then tried the GS telescopic mod and then moved up to a vamo. No doubt as time goes by and I gain more experience I will want to try rewicking and building my own coils. At the moment I have probably spent more than I would have on stinkies but all those new pieces of kit to try have kept me well away from the dreaded weed. The trouble with all these new toys is that everyone is different and what one person raves about the next will find useless. All I can suggest is that you try the bits you fancy until you find the best setup that suits you.

Welcome to the new smoking revolution

Great info, thanks mate. Typically, it looks like I posted my first reply at the same time of yours lol, so I didn't read it until I had posted again. Info still appreciated though, thank you :-) .

Completely agree with everything you've said. Glad I'm not the only one to perhaps "overspend" a little at first due to inexperience, and the sheer amount of kit that is available out there. It's so easy to spend a small fortune whilst you seek out and eventually decide upon the kit that suits you the best and you get on well with. I have learnt some valuable lessons fro it all so far however, so future purchases will be a bit more well informed now, especially with the wealth of help and knowledge from the great people on this forum :-) .

Cheers mate :-) .

P.S. I'm never going to get as involved in this to the point where I'll be building my own wicks and coils etc, my circumstances would make it difficult. I'd need to learn a whole lot more about it all first, but in the future the only self mods I "might" attempt in the future is mixing my own liquids. As things stand though, certainly for the foreseeable future, I'll be buying the various kit and replaceable accessories pre-made :-) .
