Recently we lost what was, in my opinion, one of the best eliquids (at least custards) in vaping history - Digbys Mum's Custard.

For reasons unknown the vendor has taken it down and with no explanation.

Some people have stocked up, but like the original Boba's, without having it to hand it's almost impossible to replicate.

Is there any decent clone out there now? Does anyone know what ingredient might be in DMC that makes it so unique? Is anyone up for the job of cloning it?

Thanks in advance. This wasn't just my favourite eliquid. It was the only one I could truly enjoy. Everything else to me was just passable.

Just a question: Didyou ever try any Isle of Custard juices?
Sadly defunct now, but Isle of Flavours is a thing, just add nic and glycerine.

I live in the US and can't afford to just gamble on international deliveries on the chance I might like them. I really just want something close to Digbys, it wasn't like other custards.

Then let me help you out there.

Cap Van Cust V1 15%
TPA Dulce de leche 3%
TPA Marshmallow 2%
FW butter cream 2%

I mix it 70/30 try that and see what you think.

Jeez, that is a diacetyl bomb right there. No wonder I like it :/

Are you confident it's close? or is this just a guess?

thanks :)

It's been a while since I had DMC, but the minute I vaped this I thought it was pretty damn close. You might want to mess around with the % DDL and give it a good 2-3 weeks to allow the DDL to calm down.

Interesting. Did you spend a while trying different recipes? or did you hit this pretty quickly?

I stumbled on it while making and tweaking one of the hundreds of custard recipes I've tried.
