I've had my Igo-L for a good month now, so am slowly getting the hang of this dual coil lark, although I do seem to have a problem winding the Kanthal around the posts, often not getting a good connection.

I'm now ready for something a little better, but preferably with the holes in the posts, which I'm hoping will be easier to fit.

I do need one that will take a single coil, as I've read that the dual coil set up isn't supposed to be much better than the single, with plenty of people actually preferring the single, so I'd like to have a go at both and make my own mind up.

I've a chance of an Igo-W4 for a tenner, any good or are there far better out there.?

Any suggestions/advice much appreciated.

Cheers.

I prefer a single parallel coil (which acts as a dual coil) for one simple reason. I find the Dripper deck stays cooler for longer. And I get more flavor and vapor production, over a dual coil with the same ohm reading.
Magma Dripper runs in single and dual mode I think. So does the Quasar, Omega, Trident V2, and Atomic.
All available in clone or authentic versions.

the original magma is good
as is origen and atomic
trident also good but I found post nuts fiddly

flavour its between magma and origen, magma just winning out (for me) with warmer vape.

TOBH Atty and the Stillare are my favourites at the moment.

Zenith V2 is the best RDA I have tried.

Tobh and Stillare are also good but dual coil only.

Get the Zenith it is amazing!!

It's payday on Wednesday, so I'll be getting one in the Classifieds, possibly the Zenith, or the Stillaire/TOBH, then another 2 or 3 via Slowtech I think, as I really want to try all three I mentioned, plus the Magma and Origen. Then I'll let my Igo-L go to a new home.

Cheers for the recommendations everyone, you've been most helpful.

Went with a Plumeveil and TOBH, which should be with me tomorrow.

It's worth checking out a couple others as well.

If you like the Origen, the Focus Ecig/Orieco Storm V2 is a great inexpensive alternative. It's biased towards vertical coils, but is easy to build on, has large/deep juice wells, and an amazing air flow (dual 2mm x 7mm slots when fully opened).

From FT, try the IGO-W6 Maggie (Magma-in-Disguise). This gross bastardization of an IGO-W6 and Magma actually vapes very well and doesn't heat up like the Magma. I can't really call it a clone, it's more like a science experiment gone awry. It's main downside is the MAGGIE etched on the side :S

Both of these are great drippers with large enough juice wells to keep you going for a bit.

I'll try out the Plume and TOBH first mate, to get to grips with more advanced drippers, then may dip feet into the Magma or W6, cheers.
