Last weekend, my daughter bought a largish pumpkin.
Carved it and candle lit it. It looked ace.
It was in the bin by Friday... mouldy as fuck.

I wonder how many people who buy pumpkins for Halloween even know you can eat them, they're quite nice and there is even pumpkin flavour liquid.

I think most people know, lol.

They just aren't a common vegetable, they are only in the shops for 2 weeks a year.

You can buy pumpkin soup all year round though.

Never thought I'd like it, but come Thanksgiving I found myself partial to Pumpkin Pie. Cool Whip is the traditional topping. When in Rome...
