Harsh vape from joyetech

Hi all, hoping someone can help.

My girlfriend has a joyetech egrip 2 and it's always harsh to vape, she has used it for a month now and is on to her second coil but it is always harsh and she can't draw for longer than a second or two before it makes her throat sore.

She has tried different liquids and as I said changed coils, she even keeps the wattage super low like 20w, what can we do to make it a better experience for her?

I got a vaporesso mod and it's annoying her that mine is smooth and enjoyable while hers just puts her off and makes her want a cigarette again.

Any help would be appreciated.

one question we always have to ask is has it been set to TC temp control mode instead of wattage/power mode.
not seen the mod so not sure if it shows both wattage and Centigrade/Fahrenheit on the screen.
looking at this video pwr as you said is set to 20watts but is there a C or F at the top of the screen.

Yeah it's in wattage mode, I just switched it to TC and the difference is quite clear

Have you tried a lower nicotine juice? If it’s too high that could be the problem. Also, is she smoking it like a ciggie or taking it straight down (the former is know as mouth to lung and the latter direct to lung). It looks to me like it should be vaped as DTL.

the 1 ohm CLR is the ones you want as they are ss and rebuildable
in watts start at around 9 or 10 and work your way up from there slowly 12 watts seems to work best for me but much more and you might burn the cotton and yuck
tc is a bit hit and miss but ive yet to try arctic fox thingy
one good tip i was given was to hold the thing upside down when filling as you get less mess

we update im dumb and the CLR coils are for the mk1 egrip
go for the 1 ohm ss coils if your going mtl and same sorts of power
put a couple of drops of juice down the center of the coil before fitting and after filling for the 1st time leave it for 5 mins
