i am stocking up on diy chemicals ,i know you can store nic solution and pg in a freezer but can you also store glycerin in the freezer and does it degrade it .have you stored it in freezer and used it satisfactorily .

been searching this topic for hours and all i get is that pure glycerine freezes at 17 °C but so far in my freezer its thicker but not gone solid

any thoughts comments would be appreciated

Vegetable Glycerine is always going to be available so it's not something that you really need to stock up on.

My understanding is that it is fine to store vg in the freezer but it does not keep as long as pg which is why we buy nic in pg for storage.
I am not sure of the life of vg in freezer, but some years less than the min of 10 we believe pg and nic can be stored.
I think it keeps at least a year in a cool dark place so I would have no problem storing for 2 or 3 years in freezer but that is just my educated guess.

Same goes for PG supplies.

The only potential (I'll say it twice) potential threat is to nicotine supplies. Nicotine provision in the UK is covered by existing regulation, ie we can buy nothing stronger than 7.2% ... but you can buy litres and litres of it if you want to.

Nothing in the TPD threatens this specifically, many are working on assumption and interpretation. Panic buying in light of this seems completely unjustified IMHO. If and when we see clarification on this we'll know whether nicotine concentrate will be pulled from the market altogether, taxed or left as it is.

i guess there is a little panic in me with all the posts about how other countries are over reacting to vaping .some of the panic as it were is because i have only been off cigs for 7 months and the thought of vaping being over restricted or taxed out of existence is getting to me.
i cant store masses of chems because my freezer is small ,it was more a gesture.... 2 litres of nic , 2 litres of pg and a litre of vg with a 1 in 1 out philosophy.
i can see at the moment its a bit futile but it stops me being stressed by a simple gesture ....the main point i wanted to clear up is that if i stored stuff in the freezer would it be all OK

another thing that panics me is i actually worked in the public sector before i retired and i don't trust them to be rational when deciding on the implementation of the TPD one little bit
