But she's not smoking! She's vaping.

Did anyone see the ad?

A woman will appear to smoke in a TV advert for the first time tonight since it was banned in 1965.
Health campaigners are furious that rules on e-cigarettes have been relaxed and fear the 20-second clip of the woman will “sexualise and glamorise” the use of the battery-powered nicotine devices.
E-cigarette company VIP will air its footage during a break in ITV crime drama Grantchester, which starts at 9pm.

There's a pole on the website
"Should adverts showing people smoking e-cigarettes be allowed?"
at the moment it stands at YES 67% - NO 33%

Next they'll be coming after your smoking cup of tea as a fire hazard.

Voted 54/46 now.

As usual, roll out the ANTZ with statements like "appeals to kiddies" etc. So glad I don't watch Grantchester therefore I won't see the advert,& if it starts appearing in other advert slots I still won't see it as I record 99% of my TV viewing(in case I fall asleep)and then FF through the sadverts.

So this is the second survey poll the mirrors tried it's best to demonise E-cigs with in a week.

Bless them, they are trying ever so hard.

Dickheads.
