Are the heatsink 510 connections worth using on a hybrid mech mod? Was planning of getting one for my SMPL tube mech.

This is your lucky day my friend, I found one yesterday when having a rummage, and it's copper too! Perfect for your SMPL :)
PM your address and I'll take a walk to the postbox in the morning :)

Dug it out and had a footer with it, and it's split new - reasonable quality, bottom positive 510 screw is adjustable, however it's natural position is to sit flush with the negative outer, absolutely couldn't use it on a hybrid mech like that! But it does screw out more than adequately to be used on a hybrid, however the screw turns way to easily for my liking, and my concern is that when screwing your button down that the battery "could maybe' spin the 510 causing a hard short! Should be any easy fix if I have a small enough Oring? Also the top 510 isn't spring loaded, it's press fit, but there is an element of movement in, might be gappy though?
I fear these are fairly generic from China and would be very suspicious of them. If I canny find an Oring it's going in the bin.

It doesn’t look hard to tinker with. If the main metallic components are there then I’m sure I can fix it.
