Hi, signed up to this forum the other day and thought it about time to introduce myself.
I am 52 years old living in Dagenham, Essex.
Also into Motorcycles/Classic Scooters, Real Ale & Football.
Packed up smoking on 3 previous occasions sinc 2009 the longest I lasted was the first time in 2009 when I stopped for 6 months, each time using Champix, I found the hardest part was after the course of champix had finished and I'd be having pint or two or whilst out riding with mates, this is my 4th attempt and so far so good, I started vaping with 0mg just to go though the motions of smoking, however, on a few occsions when out riding when we stopped my mates would roll a fag and spark up and I confess I ponced a few fags, same thing happened when down the pub, it was like Groundhog day as this is how I started smoking the other 3 times after I packed up, ponce a fag here and there and before I new it walking into a shop and buying an ounce of baccy, fag papers and a lighter, each time I started smoking again I became an even heavier smoker than before.
Obviously the things that triggered the craving for a fag (Riding Motorcycles/Scooters & Drinking(not at the same time)) I am not prepared to give up beer or riding, I went back to the shop where I bought the vape (Coolfire pebble) and juice and following advice from the dude there I bought a Smok T-Priv & now vape at 3 to 6mg & have been since about the end of June.
I have started making my own juice, some from scratch with a kit from Tottally Wicked & also buying premixed flavours and adding nic shots & just "Shake & Vape" although I leave it for a minimum of 24 hours and give the juice a good shake a few times, the first few bottles of juice I made from scratch were not so good, they didnt taste bad or anything like that but I think I was a bit impatient, I was making two flavour bottles and would vape them after about a week, they just tasted sweet, the juice I make from scratch now are just single fruit flavours with just 5% flavour concentrate and so far pretty good.
I have really got into this vaping lark and now at the end of a long ride or down the boozer I just vape.
I have become a Smok fan, I have a T-Priv & spare tank, 2 x Stick V8 Baby + spare tank,a Smok Spirals Tank and the first Vape I bought the Coolfire pebble.
On a side note my Mrs has now knocked the cigs on the head since I bought her a Smok Procolor about 3 weeks ago.
