Hello to all you lovely folk out there, thought I'd drop a line to say hello as I'm sure thousands of others before me have done.
I've been vaping since January the 20th this year (my pay day, unsurprisingly.) My main reason for quitting smoking was the sheer cost of it, and the fact that I didn't particularly enjoy stinking of fags all the time.
There's a Socialites stand literally two seconds outside the door of where I work and there's one in Barnsley centre as well, so I thought that would be a good place to start. Bought myself one of their cigalikes with a charger and a couple of ends and thought that would be it. Well, soon enough the costs started to mount again. Fair enough it wasn't the price of a pack of fags that it was costing me to get through a pack of fags but it was costing me £4 for 2 ends a day and I thought surely there's got to be a better way than this.
May payday was due, so I figured I'd buy myself something proper. By no means is this going to seem impressive to some of you out there, but I bought myself an iTaste ep from magnifecig.co.uk and 50ml of juice for a grand total of £35. I've got about 15mls left (give or take what I'm currently vaping whilst typing this!) and I was pleased with it. Got a little bit carried away and thought you know what I need in my vaping life? MORE FLAVOUR.
Got too far ahead of myself one night when I was suffering from toddler induced insomnia and figured it would be a good idea to spend £10 on clearance juice from a website that I won't name, because I don't blame the website for the shitty juice, it was quite clearly in the sale for a reason and I reckon that was the pg/vg ratio, which for my tastes was awful. Then, one of them straight up ruined my clearomizer, made it cloudy and partially dissolved one of my wicks. I was highly displeased and chucked the lot in the bin. Tasted crap, ruined my stuff but smelt bloody delicious. One out of three ain't bad I suppose.
Anyway, after all this rambling, I'd just like to say that I'm glad to be here. I frequent electronic_cigarettes on reddit, but it's not quite the same as enjoying a good old cuppa and a vape with some lovely English chums.
