Hi,
I was a smoker for nearly 30 years, I knew it was bad for me and that I should give up but never managed to crack it, tried cold turkey, hypnotherapy and Zyban without success. The time I realised smoking wasn't an option anymore was when I held my Mum's hand last August while she died from COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease-just in case anyone didn't know) caused by smoking. I've been vaping for just over twelve months and I feel so much healthier, I no longer wheeze or get out of breath and my smokers cough has disappeared. Like many other people, at the start vaping was just an alternative to smoking but somewhere during the last year it became much more, somewhere between a hobby and an obsession. I sing the praises of vaping to anyone who will listen, without trying to force my view on smokers who may see me trying to take some sort of moral high ground. After buying some over-priced and disappointing e-liquids I got into mixing my own and mix for friends that have asked me to. I started mixing to get good tasting juice and control my nicotine level (which worked - great tasting juices and down to 12mg) and also to save money (which didn't work - I've got a mixing box full of concentrates that 'seemed like a good idea at the time'). I started vaping with a Jacvapour starting kit which didn't do it for me and I nearly relapsed until I got an Ego Twist kit that really did the trick, after that I got a Vamo V2 and now I have a Nemesis clone a Fogger V2 and a Kayfun 3.1 clone as well as a couple of dripping attys that are great for testing my juices.
In case anyone was wondering I play in a band called Dirty Dogs, hence the user name, we're just a pub covers band but its a hobby that I love which also pays quite well unlike vaping which is turning into an expensive hobby, still I definitely prefer an expensive hobby rather than filling Big Tobacco's coffers for a self funded death sentence.
