Hi. Having decided that vaping has to replace my 30+ years of smoking rollies, I came online to look for a forum that might help guide me to the right sort of products. Google threw up a few, but how could I resist the name of this one?

I bought a Vapestick (tm) fagalike from Tesco, which has already come in handy replacing the occasional habitual smoke, but doesn't cut it for those 'crucial' cigarettes - first couple in the morning, after a good meal or...whatever I suppose I need to move towards a less disposable system in the long term.

Currently I'm a little confused by all the options for vaping kit (not to mention the weird and wonderful variety of flavours), but I hope to learn enough here to narrow it down.

Hey there I'm new to the forum too and funnily enough just down the road from you.

I'd agree with the previous post, an evod starter kit is a great way to get into real vaping without blowing the bank.

I got my kit from ebay a couple of months ago for £12 and I was vaping away. Great little kit. Also If you go for the high strength juices 24mg nicotine you will have no probs with those early morning cravings.

There a good vape shop in Basingstoke and another good one in caversham.

Do you have a vape shop in Newbury yet?

Aloha man, yeah evod starter kit (bottom coiled, so no strands hanging down) is what i've been getting my mates to get and so far all but 2 (the ones who are worried their other smoking friends will laugh at them for the pipe) have stuck to it.
Flavour wise, a tobacco one is like the holy grail, you'll never get that perfect flavour, i suggest a flavour you like or a strong flavour (best while your sense of smell and taste recover fully) like caramel or a menthol one (strongest are usually spearmint & peppermint mixes, often with the word 'ice' somewhere in its name).
Try to get some of your friends to take the plunge too, its easier with support, you can also share info (and liquids if you find a good one), good luck and vape on
