I've been using FA banana quite extensively and it is impressive in some ways. It stands out in recipes as low as 1% and tastes just like eating a real banana. Unfortunately though, it tastes like eating a banana with the skin on. The nice fleshy part of a banana is definitely there, but it is marred somewhat by more than a tinge of the bitterness and flavour of banana skin. It's a little puzzling why they thought it a good idea to include the skin and much as I do still like it, I'm now on the hunt for a nice peeled banana.
I haven't tried any other banana concentrates so am open to any recommendations. I think I'm looking for a natural banana taste rather than a sweet-like banana but again, open to persuasion in that regard.
If you have a recommendation, please say what's good about it, its characteristics and what percentage you'd recommend to give a background note.
