Help please

Hey guys I've been mixing my own liquids for a little while now but all the flavours I have used have pretty much been mix and go flavours not had much experience with steeping anyway on to my dilemma

About 6 week's ago I mixed up some coronal custard by t juice I mixed it at 20% flavour and 80%vg I mixed 100 ml in a jam jar lid off every other day for first 10 days then just left shaking every other day or so. I couldn't wait to try it as it smells bloody loverly but I'm not impressed it dosnt taste as nice as premixed and I also noticed it has hardly darkened it has a bit just not much there's no nicotine in the mix so dose that make a difference have I done some thing wrong I expected it to go fairly dark

Any help and advice is much appreciated

It could be because there's no nic. It will be ok though. I think if you want nic in a juice though, it is best put in before steeping

Nic does make a difference on colour due to chemical reactions.. It should also be put in at the start else you you need to steep again once you put it in

Was thinking nic would make a difference not planing on adding nic just want to vape the stuff lol thanks fir your help

Most custards will have other flavourings added. I'm not a fan of those that change the flavour, but I add the following at 1% each which are all creamy and boost the flavour:

Vanilla
Malted Milk
Condensed Milk
Butter
Bavarian Cream

I also tip the dregs from my tanks into the mix.

Don't forget that TJuice mix their juices with 80PG/20VG so flavour will be stronger in premade.

Thanks for that bit of info was thinking of adding a bit of some thing but want sure what to add I have been adding dregs from coronal custard premixed bottles our lass has been emptying but only tiny little dribbles hear and there can you recommend a vendor for the concentrates you recommended by any chance

Mine are from all over the place, but I don't suppose it matters which ones you use.

Chef's Vapour should have them all.
