Help with EGo CE4

Morning everyone,
I have got my new Ego CE4, charged it and had a couple of puffs!! went to use it this morning and nothing!! I clicked it 5 times to switch on and no blue light when I pressed it, so i thought I'd connect the usb charger to see if it's the battery, thought if doesn't show up red or green or the blue button show up it's the battery that's possibly blown / not working. Anyway, the usb is showing red (no charge) and the blue light is on, on the ego so the battery I think is okay, so at the mo I've left it charging again.
The questions I have are
1: when you put the Ego on charge is the blue light on the side supposed to be showing or does it mean while I'm charging the Ego is switched on so basically I'm dis-charging as fast as I'm charging!?
2: When you switch on or off should the Clearomiser be attached or not?
3: When switching on or off it says to do it in quick succession?????, Is like CLICKCLICKCLICKCLICKCLICK or CLICK-CLICK-CLICK-CLICK-CLICK (sorry I know I must sound a bit thick!!)?

I found one guide on the internet which said when you first get it charge it for 8 hours use it for 20 mins and recharge for another hour, another one said charge it for 3 hours even if the light turns green on the usb, then your ready to go.

!: yes, the blue light on mine are on. Red light on, on the charger with the odd green flick.
2: Shouldn't make no difference.
3: Yes five clicks on, five clicks off, normally. One of mine does only 4 clicks. Reasonably quick but not to fast.

You might not like this question, but have to ask.
Is your Ego CE4 a good one from a reliable source. Or one from somewhere else ?

Some places sell, shall we say, not so reliable stock.

The light staying on is perfectly normal at about 80% charged the blue light should go out but the charger should stay red.
For a full charge leave on until the charger goes green.

I've never heard of this vendor, but others may have.
I do see they sell only 1100 mah ego batteries in their kits. As a comparison for you, my 1100 mah ego batteries, last about a day of moderate vaping. (well they did when new, 7 months ago).
So if yours don't last at least half that, or flatten off overnight without use. Then they may be faulty or something, and you will need to contact the vendor.

i allways turn ego battery's off before charging
ok so on or off is 5 quick press of the button it will flash to notify then wait a few seconds press once more if the button lights up its on if not then it's off ,
now sometimes they don't play ball so try the cycle again to get it on or off what ever you want
plug it in and leave it over night
some ego battery's light up when charging some don't

Makes no difference turning it off really as it turns on when you plug the charger in with an ego.
