Hi guys, so I just bought a zues x rta, I’m using it with the aegis solo mod, I have a samsung 30q 18650.

So my first build went really well, but I’m worried about this ohms law I can’t get my head around,

I’m using 2 fused Claptons which is reading at 0.15ohms, I’m vaping at 65w.

my question is will a single 18650 battery keep up with that? Last thing I want is to fuck the battery and cause damage.

kinda at the limit, for one cell you would need a 21700 cell at 65w , try home higher ohm coils and aim for a 0.25 build.
two 0.5 coils will give you 0.25 or somewhere around that.

if you want to keep running the zeus x suggest looking at a dual battery mod. I was using my zeus dual ( kinda same thing) on a vaporesso armour pro with a 21700 and the limit was about 75w... and the battery life is shite at that power.

Vaping at 65W will draw approx 22Amps from a single battery. Get yourself a 25A or 30A 18650 battery and you will be well within limits of battery drain.

You don't have to worry about Ohms Law when using a regulated mod. The resistance of your coil doesn't matter, only when using a mech mod is it important.
Your main concern is battery drain.
If your vaping at 65w, you will be drawing around 22 or 23 watts from the battery.
Get a good 25A or 30A 18650 Battery and you will be good to go.
