So it's about time I finally introduced myself, I created an account many months ago but I never posted as I like to lurk haha. Now I'm not really sure on what to say but I'll go ahead and start with my story, I'll leave my current set up for another post and you guys can show me what you're rockin' ..... my apologies if it bores you.
Let's get the EXTRA boring stuff out of the way first, My name is Sufyan but you can call me 'Sufy'. I'm an Architecture Student from England and have been living between two cities, London and Bradford.
I was never a 'real' smoker, at least that's what some would say. I started Vaping around a year and a half ago and was once an avid 'Shisha', 'Hookah', 'Narghile', 'Water Pipe', 'Hubble Bubble', (or whatever other names people call it) smoker, I had been smoking it for approximately 6/7 years and having at least 3-5 'sessions' a day, I saw no reason to quit as I was still the fastest footballer on the pitch, my stamina didn't even suffer from the effects of the Shisha (although I'm aware these effects would take place in the long term.) When I had first started vaping my intentions were never to have quit Shisha but rather a way to smoke it wherever I go without having to carry a briefcase of glass, metal, coal and what not, albeit I'm still carrying around a bag on my travels, it's now full of juice, cotton, RDA's and mods.
My first set up was an Ego CE-4, I had some Hangsen or Dekang blueberry liquid which I thought was the mutts nuts back then, I stopped vaping pretty much instantly as it wasn't as satisfying as my Shisha, mind you I was vaping 0mg liquid so that might have had something to do with it too, the vapour production and in turn the flavour just wasn't there, not to mention the super restrictive airflow. I stopped vaping for 4 months before I thought I'd give it another go as I'm all about second chances
. That's when I got a Kanger Aerotank II and a Vision Spinner (still on 0mg but with better brands of juice) and though it was much better it was still not satisfying, for the next month I continued to vape as well as smoke Shisha.
It wasn't until I realised the world of dripping that I really enjoyed vaping, I tried my brothers mod who at the time was more experienced than I was, I tried Ruthless' 'Swamp Thang' on a 0.8 ohm build which was pretty crazy to me considering I was using a 1.2/5 ohm coil on my aerotank haha, As soon as I could I got to my flat and started researching battery safety (luckily my brother was there if I had any questions) and what it takes to sub-ohm as there weren't many affordable devices that could produce high wattage if any. I researched for about a week to stay on the safe side and make sure i understood what I was doing, (Disclaimer: for people new to vaping and electrical understanding, keep in mind I have a basic knowledge of physics, I'm surrounded by people who talk to me about these things and just having a general interest in learning helped me go into this quickly, it can be quicker or slower depending on your thirst for knowledge. Just don't be afraid to ask questions!) anyhow.... my first set up was a Nemesis with a Nimbus RDA (Glass replacement top cap that broke just before I went on holiday
) so I bought a Stillaire and I loved it for a good while..... until I found Boxmods....
I'm glad to say I no longer smoke Shisha... maybe occasionally in gatherings... but for most of the year a full-time vaper
