Hi all! Been a lurker and a member for a while, but not got round to posting my introduction thread yet. Have been vaping since the end of January, so not very long now. Have loved every moment of it though! Am very glad I made the change from the fags. Started with a Shoreditch One ego style pen. Was a great smoke kicker, but the tank dissolved after a month, so was kind of gutted. When that gave up the ghost I picked up an Evod Mega. Was much better as it had a bigger tank that was pyrex, and figured if my juice flavours killed the polycarb one then was better off getting a pyrex. Is a great little starter kit, and have had no problems with it.
Wanted to try out subohming though so picked myself up a SubVod Mega. Figured for 30 quid it was a good way to go. Had a battery, and the equivalent of a 25 quid tank for roughly the same price. Really enjoyed the experience, and quickly became my carry round vape gear. Much prefer the subohm vaping, but don't think I would have if I'd just jumped straight into it. Have made another upgrade recently though, and picked up a CoolFire 4 TC100 and iSub V tank. Was going for 40 quid and figured it was too good a bargain to pass up. Would like to say I won't be upgrading again anytime soon, but who knows! Really like the CoolFire 4 TC100, has improved the experience to no end. Easy to use, and lots of different options for tailoring the vape to the juice. Have found different juices get better flavour at different temperatures/watts.
Am not particularly experienced in the various juice flavours. Started out looking for bargain options, but quickly found myself chucking away entire bottles after only a couple of vapes on the flavours. Just e-Liquid and Virtual Vape being particularly horrible! 6 bottles straight in the bin. Tend to stick to just a few now, though am trying out more and more as time goes on. My go to liquids at the moment are OnePoundLiquid, some of their flavours are incredibly nice as is their price! I also use Shoreditch. Flavour range isn't great, and the price is average, but the flavours I've tried have all been great. And I also use the local vape shop (I live in the back end of North Wales so not a lot of options). They sell Valley Liquids, and have to admit, most of their flavours have been great. Though some of them taste nicer in higher nic content than lower nic content, so vape them in the standard tank.
Gonna try out some of the premium flavours at some point, just feels very expensive when you're running on a budget! I'm a pretty heavy vaper, which makes it seem even more expensive, especially when you can get good flavours at cheaper prices. But will make the splurge some day, just for the experience! Some very interesting flavours in the gourmet juices!
