Hey Bradski! :welcome1: to the forum!

What's your budget? I seriously suggest a Vamo, got the OH one for xmas and its been nan excellent investment!

Hi bradski, welcome to the planet. Haven't actually tried the vmax myself but I have a Vamo which is a Variable voltage and Variable wattage mod. It sells for about £35 body only so you would need a battery and charger with it. There are a few reviews on youtube if you haven't seen them. Are you new to vaping or is this an upgrade? Sure loads more people will comment shortly. It's a great place for a new vaper or a veteran, very friendly with lots of banter :)

hi thanks for your advice i will look it up its sounds the same price as the zmax v2 but without some of its features and i have seen the reading of the zmax v2 device on rms vaultage and wattage to be near a 98% of the device settings and the rms reading on the lcd is a big hit for me i will be off to do more research on the vamo cheers

just had alook at the vamo vv+vw and it seems to be the same as the zmax v2 minus a few feture settings as i said it seems to be the same but alot simpler to use and the lcd looks better and the settings easier to use than the zmax v2

ps I DO LIKE THE LOOK OF THE ZMAX V2 WHY CARNT THIS BE SIMPLE TO CHOSE FROM

I am about to buy a second Vamo V2. They are easy to use, as well featured as the ZMax and in the smaller battery (18350) mode - pocketable. They also knock the ZMax and most other mods deep into touch on value for money.

(I am buying a 2nd one because my first is so good).

how long does your battery last you on your vamo i am going onto do my research now on what ohm / vaultage and wattage for each diffrent rated attached device i.e 1.5ohm dual coil 510 tank what wattage would be safe to run with out that horrible burning taste ect if you know of any grids and guides would be much appreciated

ZMax V2 Specification

Variable Wattage - ZMax gives you the power to select the wattage from .3w to 15w in 0.5w increments.

Variable Voltage - ZMax gives you the power to select the voltage from 3.0v to 6.0v in 0.1v increments.

Pulse Width Modulation - ZMax's advanced electronics utilizes Pulse Width Modification for minimum power loss during usage

Regulated voltage output - ZMax gives consistent vaping regardless of how much battery power is left.

Auto Short Circuit Protection - ZMax will auto shutdown if the battery voltage or atomizer resistance is too low, the current is too high, or the battery is inserted improperly.

Built in Battery Voltage Meter - ZMax LED display shows voltage of battery. You can when the battery needs recharging.

Built in Atomizer Resistance Meter - ZMax LED display shows resistance of atomizer/cartomizer. You can check the resistance of your atomizers and cartomizers.

The vamo does all the above at a third of the price (so you wont be as bothered if it takes a hit or two & if you are like me you are forever chucking your PV on the floor)

I agree with KulrMeStoopid & Bryan123456 on the Vamo choice.

But as with most things vaping related it is all down to personal choice both the devices will do the job at hand.

I think vw takes into account the ohm on your device and adjusts accordingly, I haven't had any burning sensation from any device at any wattage, yet.
