Hey folks, I'm off for a while or a couple of whiles, I rejoined a few months back when I took up vaping again after a couple of years off (on?) the wagon and have had this tab pinned since but with me trying to make vaping just something I do and not really think about much I'm going to take a break and unpin the tab.
Not wanting to make a grand exit or flounce out anything, no need to hire professional mourners or a solitary trumpet player - but I did want to 'announce' my departure because I wanted to say 'see ya' and say that I've found this forum to be a pleasure to be a part of, albeit fairly briefly.
I don't really do forums much, and don't do social media at all, but in the past I've been on a few forums about various hobbies etc, and more often than not the number of folk who just seem to want to be confrontational or downright nasty outweigh the benefit of being in touch with the genuinely good folk that are variously funny, interesting and informative, but I've found POTV to be the opposite.
For example, nobody has told me they hope I die in a fire; as one entirely balanced and rational guy in a vape forum on Reddit said a couple of years back when I posted something he didn't like about... can't remember what but presumably something to do with vaping !! - but I guess that's Reddit for you
Anyway, cheers for all the warm camaraderie and useful advice, I might be back sometime if I re-acquire the tinkering bug - best wishes and happy vaping to you all !
