My job needs a practical & discreet battery unit so using a bulky Mod is out of the question. I put this together over xmas. I wanted a Mod that I could use at home and while driving without wasting my batteries with a voltage input of 9 - 15v. At the heart is a 150kz DC-DC converter with 2 displays for volts & ohms, and 3 - 6v variable output. Under load there is only 0.01 volt drop over the entire range into 1.8 Ohm. At home I power it with a 9 volt/1000mA transformer & from a modified Car phone charger while driving. It also doubles as a resistance checker when re-wicking. The components mainly came from Stealthvape and the rest from a leading High Street electronic retailer. All for under £25...
