Hot off the press, results of Dr F study

But my reading of it suggests aldehydes were only detected in conjunction with a dry hit regardless of wattage, so if it tastes fine it probably is fine would be my reading of it.

Shock result, Dry hits = Bad...

I know we all knew this was going to be the result but Dr F Really had to do the test so that there is a genuine verifiable study that can be used to disprove all the previous "More dangerous than Tobacco cigarettes" stories...

Dr Farsalinos is still the man... HatTipSmileyAnim.gif

I'm not sure Dr F was sure it would be the answer until he had the first results in, but he has been hinting along these lines for weeks. His recent opinions on flavourings have been interesting too

Just my thoughts on this Diche, although this study proves to me as an experienced vaper that there is no concern., it's the interpretation by others that worries me when they see mods available of a 150w plus.

It may be nothing, but I'm not completely sure this side of the argument is fully laid to rest yet...

When you start to tie it together with his recent comments on high vapour production and the inherent risks of flavourings as unknowns in terms of inhalation it starts to make sense. He is definitely hinting people away from the low nic, high vapour trend in vaping that is currently taking place as being likely to increase the exposure to the elements of vaping with the highest risks. However it isn't the presence of aldehydes which are essentially combustion products that are the primary concern, but the chemicals that make up the flavourings themselves.

Ahh and And I've just seen the link you've posted, yes he's saying there is more work still to be done, -so at least I'm not completely barking, -but at least we are on the right road :D
