I was sat here idly recalling the 1980's & CB when it suddenly occurred to me that vapers seem to all possess the exact same thought processes of the old CB'ers and them having the "eyeballs" (meeting up with like-minded folks) lol
I was at my first (but not my last) vape meet last Saturday, expecting to turn up, say hello, and then piss off......It was NOTHING like I was expecting.....A nicer bunch of people you couldn't meet....Great company, good laughs, and I had a look at and try out of some of the more exotic mods and flavours of juice.......The couple of hours I intended to stay for became Seven Hours...
And in my CB/HAM days i was bored shitless in a couple of hours......Roll on the Edinburgh meet next week....
Glad to see some interest...now need to find a vaping friendly establishment! Obviously, Wetherspoons is out of bounds and I believe Hootananny's can be hit and miss.
The Costa Coffee I frequent has a nice wee sitting area upstairs, and vaping friendly. Market Bar during the afternoon/early-evening could also be worth enquiring about.
If anyone knows anywhere else, in Inverness, that would be suitable, I'm happy to hear any suggestions.
Theres a pub near me in Fortrose, they might allow it, the owner is a decent bloke, they also do good food and also have the largest selection of Belgian beers in Scotland. I could always find out what the score is.
