Evening all; i ask this as it says under battery cautions/care you should never fully discharge a battery as this leads to an unstable battery. So when do you know it is time to recharge - when power light turns yellow or red??? i am using the Efest IRM 18650 battery in the SVD. Thanks again...

Also when do you know when to charge the MVP? Is it the same as above??

When it turns red I'd say - VV/VW mods normally shut off at around 3.2V - I believe that fully discharged is about 2.75 volts

Having said that I don't think there's any harm in charging earlier than that.

And yes, the MVP will be the same, except you can still vape it while it's charging.

What he said vv/vw mods cut off At around 3.2 to protect the battery

Sent from my HTC One X using Planet of the Vapes mobile app

I think when its fully charges, the button becomes green, then orange (half charged) and red when you need to charge it.

I do know that I have ruined two supposedly protected batteries in my Nemesis mod due to discharging them too much. They now read 2.1V on my voltmeter and the chargers I have refuse to charge them! Anyone know how to wake them back up???

Try leaving them to one side for an hour or 2,they often recover enough to recharge(mine did)

If that doesn't work,I'm unsure of how to get them back to life.

I use a couple of MVP's in rotation and on both there is a sudden noticeable drop in vapour production by which point the yellow light has come on. That's charging time as far as I'm concerned.

On the SVD, all batteries, Green is good, amber is getting low, red is recharge please. Using it on red for to long, it will cease to fire, when it gets to minimum voltage left.

Surely on a vv/vw mod, it's not possible to fully discharge the battery, given that it cuts off before it's fully discharged
