How to make 20mg/ml nic salt mix

Hi all,

I wonder if someone could spare me a few minutes, basically I've purchased a 100 ml of 70VG/30PG liquid and I'm wondering how much nic salt concentrate (72mg) to add to this shortfill to make the strength about 20mg.

I've looked online and can't seem to find a calculation for it.

Nice. I was going to say about 40 but this is much more accurate.

You do have to note though that this will dilute the flavour of the shortfill, they're usually set up to put 20ml of nic in. Shouldn't be too bad but it will dilute it.

Many shortfills are 60/40 b4 u add the nic shot right?

So for example, prime vapes 50 ml shortfill os 60/40 0mg as it comes.
it then becomes a 60ml 70/30 3mg when you add a 18mg VG nic shot.

Is that correct? Therefore if i wanted to make it as it comes into a 60/40 10mg what do i need to add to it? 3 x pg nic salts?

If you wanted to keep the original 60/40 ratio you would use 50/50 nic salt shots

But if your talking about using higher % nic salt, then I'm not sure if you can get 50/50, fairly sure is vg or pg,

As Cozy said, use 50/50 to keep the ratio the same but adding 3 shots is going to massively dilute the flavour. Higher strength you could add but it's 100% PG or 100% VG so the ratio would be off. Roughly 8ml of 72mg would make 10mg then you could add 2ml of VG to make it 53/47. Or if you really wanted it 60/40 get both higher strength nic in PG and in VG, add 4ml of each then add 2ml of 50/50 base. Clear as mud?

Suspect you'd want 10mg strength salts out of the shortfill, so if getting the higher strength I would go for PG option then add approx. 8ml nic which would give you 58ml of 10mg strength juice, won't adjust the ratio too much either
