And I fancy getting hold of one. It won’t be an Ec. I don’t like the aesthetic that much, and I’d honestly prefer a glass tank.

I’m an mtl vaper using predominantly 50 or 60vg liquid.

So. SQuape owners, Which do you prefer and why? The R, the X or the E.

Hard call, not the x as that doesnt seem to be gear towards MTL.

I have the R, an E and a C

If you dont mind refilling on a regular basis then I would say that the E is the best atty of the bunch.

Flavour is really good, better that the R, but I do have a few issues with the E as it isnt cheap or simple to get anything over a 2.5ml tank, so I feel like I am forever filling it up, lets face it some RDAs have a bigger jiuce well. It is also a little fiddly to fill.

The other issue I find is it is hard to see, due to the tiny windows, when the tank is empty. Using TC solves this of course.

I am on the whole using the E(c) simply becuase I manged to get a 4.5ml one and although the flavour isnt quite as good, for me, that it negated by the need to keep filling the E.

The way an atty looks doesnt really bother me.

Until recently I was still using my R but it looks very big.

As a guide the two atties I use the most now are the Rose V3 and the Squpae E(c) with the R being relegated to the box.

Nail on the head there really @Peeej

I’m a huge fan of SQuapes, I’ve owned most of them, and IMO the E[c] is the best of the bunch. If you really don’t want an E[c] then go for an R or R[eloaded]. The X series won’t appeal to you as they are airier SQuapes geared towards DTL.

I would also recommend looking past the aesthetics of the E[c] (it actually looks much better in the flesh and I really like the looks of it), I’d dive in and bag one if I was you. IMO it’s the best SQuape yet, keenly priced, easy to set up and offers a true MTL and restricted DTL vape. Flavour is off the charts, and feedback has been overwhelmingly positive from reviewers and end users alike. Also look at the E[motion] as it’s basically the same atty but with top fill and different aesthetics...but it’s £45 dearer.

Cheers @dw1986 I've been thinking of trying to pick up an E[motion] second hand. The aesthetics are definitely much more by thing than the E[c] although getting it new is clearly significantly more expensive.

I like how there is a longer tank section available for the E[c] already though.

The things that are putting me off the E[c] are that you can't get it in a standard SS finish - I'm not sure why they did that - and I'm waiting to see how the finish will hold up over time for the people I know who've got them - fewer things bug me more than an atomizer that looks all chipped and battered when it's not even that old.

Also traditionally I've tried to steer clear of bottom fill tanks with PC tank sections - I worry about the rigidity of the threading over time, especially when it's only 2ml so you have to fill it so often. I don't mind paying for a decent tank, but then having to shell out over a tenner for a new tank section whenever the threads die seems a bit rich to me - I like my tanks to be an investment where possible.

I am pleasantly surprised by just how positive some of the reviews have been so far though.

@Peeej it's interesting to see you mention the Ec in the same sentence as the Rose3 - I hated the Rose3 with a passion :D

I’ve not seen too many of the E[motion]’s available for sale second hand, but keep your eyes peeled. The longer tank section does impact the flavour slightly from what I have heard, however it’s nothing too drastic. The 2ml version excels because of how short the chimney section is, making the flavour more concentrated.

They didn’t release an SS version off the bat because of the cost, one of the main reasons that the cost came down compared to the E[motion] is because it doesn’t use an SS tank section, however Stattqualm have said that they will now release an SS version of the SQuape E[c] shortly because there has been a fair bit of demand for it. I’ve had the black version for a month now, I use it constantly, and I’ve only picked up a small chip on the drip tip because I dropped it straight onto the drip tip :D rest of the finish is as perfect as when I first got it. You can customise the look of it too by switching the AFC, tank section and what not, plus parts are fully interchangeable with the E[motion].

Can’t speak for the threading on the E[c] yet, not had it long enough, but spare PMMA sections are easy to buy from Creme de Vape if things do go tits up. The PMMA should be built to last, it’s heat treated to strengthen it as well, and with how well SQuapes are made I don’t think there’s a chance of the threads dying off early

The SS option is interesting to hear about. I’ve got a wanted ad up in a few places for an emotion. So I might just sit on that a bit and if I can’t find one before the ss ec gets released I may get one of those!

Have to agree the C tank is very robust and pretty thick, certainly a lot thicker that the clear bell tanks that came out for the R/s

I’ve stuck a few strong citrus and menthol based e-liquids in there without any cracking or frosting too.

Do so at your own risk however :D

Yeah. It’s mostly the threading that worries me on PC tanks. Especially when you’re going to be opening/closing it multiple times a day. Plastic on metal makes me nervy.
