I decided after much deliberation that I am going to go for it and make my own DIY.

The clincher is that having tried dozens of pre-made juices, we mostly like the single simple flavours like, strawberry, blackcurrent, grape, aniseed, etc. These are not going to require complicated recipes.

And aside from this, some of the better juices are available as concentrates.... which also makes things simple.

So I just need to buy the nic, vg, pg, some bottles and syringes and get on with it.

So my question is, "If you knew then what you know now", what would you buy and where would you buy it?

(My aim is to save money, I am thinking of buying bigger quantities to reduce costs, but I am not talking 25 gallon drums. I drip and chase flavour, will be making 6,12,18mg).

Darkstar vapes for Nic.
Blended concentrates are a godsend ( Tjuice, pink spot etc)
Clasicool for pg/vg. I also have a kid and have found Calpol bottles brilliant for storing.

Flavour art. Should have bought these from the start.
Would have liked to have had about 5 1 ml, 2ml syringes with lots more blunt needles. Saves contamination, not vital, just nice:)
More 10ml bottles then I thought. I had 10, five glass five plastic. Three weeks in, I need more!

For single flavours; flavour art it best hands down and flavour art uk is best place to get. For blended flavours mtbaker and pink spot my favourites

Everything liquid will sort you out for nic, VG and PG. 5% discount using POTV code.

Get loads of bottles!! 10 ml plastic and 20-30ml glass with the good droppers.

2.5ml syringes, aye, get plenty - PLENTY y'hear!! - and a few 10ml ones as well. One of them 500ml oil/sauce/dressing bottles for dosing the VG is a really good idea as well, saves faffing about with beakers and syringes.

Flavour Art do a 5 for £15 which I wish I known about.

Have fun shopping!!

Addendum - Lubrisolve, apparently if you phone them up, you can get well sorted for VG/PG and nic!!

I would be buying this starter kit from UK Flavours

Their concentrates are pretty good and you get 30ml for the price of 10ml elsewhere. I always buy my nic base from there and I have never had an issue.
There are FA concentrates I couldn't live without, same goes for Capella, Pink spot and Kandi-Hed (from Justvape 24/7) but if you want to save money then start with UK Flavours concentrates and see where it takes you.

Most of their flavours are VERY similar to TFA/TPA. I did speak to the owner before and she told me that they use the same wholesale supplier as TPA/TFA so £2.69 for 30ml concentrate and free delivery has to be worth a try.

I spent a lot on gear I don't use,now I've got two five ml glass syringes two ten and two two ml,50 ml 250 ml glass conical flasks and glass bottles, glass is easier to clean and will last a while, diy is a lot simpler than people think and many manufacturers are selling concentrates, get a mix calc,be careful with your Nic ,start small untill you find a couple you like then fill ya boots,I have two liters steeping away in a dark place,so apart from shinyitus I'm good to go for a good while,
Good luck and dive in.

Thanks guys... still trying to take in all this information.

I was already looking at glass syringes... they can be fairly cheap and aside from being easier to clean, the juice won't take the numbers off.
