Ikarus center post insulater burned out

Hi all

I have an issue with my Ikarus center post (mods feel free to move this if its in the wrong forum ) The battery section got so hot so quick I nearly burned myself getting the battery out before it exploded! So, I striped it down and found that the top insulator had degraded over time (pull on the post due to wire, heat and juice) causing the center post to touch the body of the atty where it comes thru the the top. The damage is that it now requires a new center post and a new insulator (see pic) Now I have ordered a new post from the makers website but these insulators can't be an uncommon thing to fail so does anyone have any idea where I can buy one or even how to mod one!?

Seems Pedro don't mess about with his products. A couple of emails and he's just offered to give me 2 new insulators FOC with my new center post order! Just have to wait a week or so for these to turn up! then my Ikarus which is nearly completely new with only the atty body and bottom button as the original parts will live once again!
