Inawera Two Apples...can't taste it at 3% or 6%

I mixed some Inawera Two Apples yesterday evening at 3% strength. The concentrate smells really strong and good. I've had it before from LT Ecigs ready mixed and liked it.

Anyway I can't smell it or taste it in the liquid I've mixed, which was by the way 65% VG. My Missus reckoned she could smell the concentrate in the 30ml I mixed but I couldn't.

So I added enough which effectively doubled the strength of concentrate, gave it a good whoop with the cake mixer, then sat it on a small oil heater for 20 minutes until the bottle was good and warm and gave it a shakey shakey for good measure.

Still can't taste it. It's like I'm vaping neat VG.

I had the same with some capella blueberry at 80% VG which tasted bland even though I put a quadruple dose of concentrate in and left it for about 2 months, the flavour just didn't bond to the VG it seems and the taste of that is real similar to the taste of the IW Two Apples I'm talking about here. In other words I don't believe that seeing what it's like in 2 weeks is solution to the problem.

I don't really understand why this has occurred more than once or what the contributory factors are other than it's 65% VG or the concentrate might be shite (got it in FlavourWorld's closing sale). The concentrate smells sharp and fresh though.

Any thoughts most welcome.

I'm vaping some inwera apple right now. Not two apple though. Mix it at ten% and it's bloody potent. I use it at work mainly however I've not been able to taste it all evening. Same batch as nice been vaping all week. It's the same whenever I feel under the weather. Lose all taste in my juice.

You're not coming down with a cold are you?
Inawera is fairly strong and if your missus can smell it might be the case.

I got IW Lemon in one tank, TFA Cola in another and they taste normal. I've had a schniff of a couple other bottles I can smell them all normally so no I don't think it's that. I know IW is strong that's why I don't get it especially as the concentrate itself smells great.

By the way @SouthCoastVaper I saw a few weeks ago you made a Raspberry Fizz and I never did manage to find a thread to say if you liked it or not......did you? If so would you mind telling me where to find the recipie I had a search-up but couldn't find one.

I mixed some IW Lemon at 6% and it was gagsome, also blueberry and it was rank. Diluted back down to 3% and it was alright again.

What you mixing your IW Apple at then mucker? (the one you can't taste tonight lol)

Don't sound like a cold then but bloody odd. Sometimes the tastebuds get desensitised to tastes if they are overloaded by the same thing. I've had that by consuming to much of the same juice. On them occasions I just give them a rest for a few days to a week and just like magic I get the flavour again.
The recipe for the juice was ok but not had a chance to revisit and tweak it. As and when I do and I am happy I will put it up for you bud.
Good luck with the apple in the meantime.

10% 75-25 vg-pg boss. Bloody strong flavour normally and high nic which suits me for a few lugs while working.
It will taste fine again in the morning no doubt. Time to break out the softmint juice.

On them occasions I just give them a rest for a few days to a week and just like magic I get the flavour again.

Thanks matey, top man I will look out for it. In the meantime I will console myself with Apple Liquid of the alcoholic variety and switch to the Goblin I think tonight which has some very nice IW Cherry and IW Vanilla Bourbon in it which I have affectionately named CherryNilly

10% Inawera sounds like a proper toe-curler !! If I don't get anywhere with the Two Apples I'll try it at 10% myself though.

Mix it @20%, mix another batch, same nic, same PG/VG zero concentrate. If 20% too strong, add flavourless until you get the flavour strength u want, and, at the same time, keeping your intended nic strength and pg/vg content.
