New to vaping but have a question about the Innokin Jem, my son bought me one as a well done for stopping smoking gift, I haven't actually got it yet so did a bit of checking reviews etc and all I discovered really is that it's a pen like mod and the 2 coils it comes with are a 1.6 regular coil and a 2.0 ceramic Coil. My question is will it be ok for Nic Salts, if anyone has tried one or still has one could they let me know. I would at a guess say they were just right with maybe the 1.6 being the better coil but honestly I am not 100% sure, Thanks in advance.

Nic salts can be used with any coils, although DTL coils would need higher vg ratio to prevent likely leakage. Other than that the only restriction would be nic strength. You wouldn't use 18mg in a sub ohm set up, although some do. Can't comment on the coils so someone else may shine some light.

A friend had one of these and he used it as his MTL starter device so I'm assuming your gonna MTL with that. The coils themselves will handle nic salts as hornet says but I'd err on the side of caution and stick with 50/50 juices I reckon. He reckons the 1.6 coil is better.

I was thinking the same kind of thing, I have salts in my Aspire Nautilus AIO and that coil is a 1.4, so my way of thinking is that Nic Salts are ok above 1.0, saying that I am brand new to vaping so all I know is guesswork or from what I learn. I thought all Nic Salts were 50/50
