Innokin Sceptre Pod problems

I have recently purchased and Innokin Sceptre system and generally find it very good, however I have had a problem replacing the coil. Twice now the base unit has shattered while trying to access the coil. Has anyone else experienced this problem

Hi @Reamonn and welcome to the planet.

ive not used this kit so can only go by review videos.
when you say base shattered what do you mean, is it breaking apart?
are you turning the base too far to open as looks like a slight turn then should pop out.

I know the base will only go on one way round. I haven't had mine long but I've taken it to bits to remove the TPD bung but I took the coil out while I was at it to give the cotton a bit of a rake.
It all went back together again alright.
