Sorry if previously covered, have a small look and can't find much info.

Have two of the devices. Both have gone down for some reason within a few days of each other.

Fully charged, but just get the flashing green light thing. With or without the pods attached.

Bought from ecig direct iirc. I did phone them the helpful lady suggested using dry cotton buds to soak up any excess fluid. Said if that didn't work phone back in but I've not had a chance yet.

Is there another thing to try. Just weird they both went down at once, possibly dodgy charger but that doesn't really make much sense, as they still seem to have charge. It's just there is a short somewhere.

Was really liking, especially the cost of the coils and size of the whole device.

Any ideas?

Take the coil out and put it back in/replace the coil with a new one. Happened on mine after 3 months, only reason I ended up changing the coil. Saw elsewhere when I researched that it had happened to others when the lock on the bottom of the pod wasn't fully tightened/wasn't tightening enough any more and had come loose, might need a new pod if that's the case. :)

*If you do end up needing a new pod the newer MTL pod and coils are good, bit more kick in the coils and the option of a slightly tighter airflow if you vape MTL.

Did you get this sorted?

As mentioned the issue is with the coil connection, it's odd it has happened on two devices though, are you screwing in the coils far enough?

If the coil is fitted correctly the pod light should turn on when you fit the pod confirming connection.

Agree with @oORobOo about the new MTL pod and coils, really made the Sceptre much better for MTL.

Yeah everything sorted . Was just weird as it was two consecutive new coils that didn't fire.

The second device I bought from TECC, so called them a few days ago. Guy said he would be very surprised if there was an issue with the device itself so after trying a third coil everything back working again.

They've been kind enough to send a fresh pack of coils too.

Definitely my preferred device at the moment. Size and reliability seem really good and excellent value coils too.

Sorry to hijack but does anyone know where I can get the new MTL pods and coils from? I've got the original sceptre but want to try the new MTL pods on it.
