Innokin Zenith PG/VG or New Set Up Help Please?

Hi All,

New to vapeing so might me a daft question but....

So I have recently gone to a Innokin Zenith Coolfire Mini smoking mainly Nic Salts. The choice of flavours in 50/50 VG/PG or Nic Salts is quite limited and mainly in 10ml bottles. So what is the highest VG/PG I can run through this set up and which coil should I use for what PG/VG?

Or do I need to buy a DL set up? I smoke MTL on the 1.6ohm coil at the min?

Zenith coils can handle 70% VG, I'm pretty sure Phil has used 70/30 when he's been demonstrating them in videos. If you are canning the fuck out if it you might have trouble but I would certainly give it a go up to 70%

Cheers, I'll give it a go would I be better switching to the 0.5ohm for 70/30?? Also as daft as it sounds can I still smoke it MTL? Finally in these liquids they tend to go to 6mg nic (add your own shot) I currently smoke nic salts 10-20mg depending on brand what strength would I go in this liquid or does that not make a difference and go 10mg again? Yeah, I'd try either the Z-Plex3D Coil in 0.48 ohm (13-16w) or the 0.5Ω Plexus Z (14-19W) for higher VG than 50/50, yes still MTL.

Go with whatever Nicotine you usually use if you can, it won't make any real difference in that respect.

Just been to my local shop to buy some 70/30 and they said you can only really add shots to make 6mg which to get the same strength I have now I'd need a DL kit and 6mg to be on par with 15mg ish MTL. Does this sound right? I don't mind getting a DL kit so I can use both but just want to make sure their not pulling a fast one just to get me to buy another set up?

It's kind of a yes and a no.... with 18mg nicotine shots, you can make higher than 6mg ... but the more unflavoured liquid you put in the more dilute the flavorings will be unless they have been made to accommodate that amount.

if you look at that link, you'll see they offer a 9mg short fill option. That's a 60ml bottle with 30ml of concentrates and room to add 30ml's of 18mg nicotine. If you used 20mg nicotine shots you'll end up with the 10mg liquid you are looking for. These are adjusted in flavourings to make the finished product 'right'

A lot of the cheaper short fill bottles are only mixed at a strength for making 3mg and even making them 6mg will lessen the flavour.

There are ways around all this, using one shot concentrates in nic shots or going down the full 'mix it yourself' route... or buying from places that mix short fills for adding more nicotine. But it can be confusing if you don't really know what you are doing.

There's a lot of new Nicotine salts coming out all the time, have you looked online at places like Vape Superstore and Vape Club? You will always be limited to 10ml bottles (it's the law) but I'm surprised you think there isn't much choice. I don't like nicotine salts and I'm always frustrated that everything coming out is Nic Salts.

I have used 70vg no problems on the 1.6ohm zenith coil but the plexus mesh coils @0.5ohm or the 0.8ohm regular would be more suited to high vg liquids...I don’t use it as I found for me it vapes a bit warm for me..
