IPV2 510 Connector - HELP!

So I've had my IPV2 for a mere 2 weeks and today, as I stood up from the sofa the mod flew from my lap and took a nose dive into the floor, landing atty first, nose on. Check Atomizer. Check Atomizer. CHECK BLOODY ATOMIZER.

Stripped it down, took a multimeter to it and came to the conclusion that the 510 is buggered. Began to reseat the solder and the insulator between pos and neg terminals on the connecter melted (I think I'm eligible for an award for stupidity there). As a last check, I connected an atty straight to the positive lead and earthed it and lo and behold, a working, firing mod:

The 510 connector is definitely fubar.

Does anyone know where I can get a similar 510 connector from? I've had a look on stealthvapes and none of theirs seem close enough loolking to me so I'm not sure they'll fit. I'll attach pics in a second post. HEEEEEEEELP!!!

Et voila. Sprung loaded centre pin 510 that's buggered.

@darkprincelucifer

Think the smallest sprung 510 your going to find will be 14mm at the top.

Drill and a tap....or strong epoxy :)

Unless....if you were happy leaving the top plate of the 510 sitting on the top of the ipv, use a 22mm (fat daddy or varitube etc). Might be an easier option.

I'd go for the small size of varitube spring loaded 510, its 16mm and would fit easily and look pretty good on an IPV. I've been thinking about fitting one to my own.

I've spent the last couple of hours repairing it with household items and its done! Having the IPV sitting there and knowing that it'd be a few days until I could fit a new connector was bugging me, so I ended up stripping down the pump from a bottle of polish and cutting up a section of the pipe into a top hat sort of shape to replace the buggered insulator. It works!

The positive post sticks a bit a la MVP, but only when I put an atty with a long connector on it, like the Magma. I could probably sort this with more jiggery Pokery but I think I'll just order one of those varitube 510s and replace the whole thing.

Cheers guys!
