Is there a table for given resistances of various coils?

Just wondering of there is such a thing as a table which gives general resistances of coils from different size Kanthal? I will be populating a list of all of the micro coils I make, so will pass this info on when I have made a few.

I'm basically wanting to build a dual micro coil setup with a resistance no lower than 1.2 ohm and am wondering what size wire I can use?

The problem with this is more the diameter of the coil, unless you use a standardised former available to everyone then someone making a coil with the same wire thickness and number of turns will get a different result - The resistance is not decided by the number of turns but by the actual length / diameter / composition of the wire...

Strangely ive just built dual coils on an omega RDA 2 10 turns of 0.28mm kanthal a1 at app. 3mm diameter...a little wider than micro perhaps but made wicking easier for me....coils nice and tight after testing and dry firing/squeezing with tweezers.
resistance total 1.2 ohms
If in doubt measure res. first to avoid potential damage/injury

I tried and tried, but every time I recoil my Evod heads I get a ridiculously low amount of Ohms. I use a paperclip and Ekowool at 2mm and make 8 wraps. I get between 1.1 and 1.2 ohms. Which I fear is too low for my ego batteries.

Thanks for those links KulrMeStoopid.

Tubbyengineer, I'm using calipers to check the diameter of the material I'm building on, so will keep that part of the equation a constant. I know there may be differences due to how it's wrapped but it's easier than measuring the total length of wire!

Madpiano, you should add some more coils, I did 12 wraps of 0.32mm Kanthal for my protank mini last night on a 2mm pin and it came out at 1.7ohm, happy with that.

Anyway, I've since drunk a bottle of wine so coil building is off for tonight, night night!

Does anyone know if the vapers toolbox is based in micro , nano or normal coils.
