Hey everyone, i thought i would do a review of this box mod as i have had it a for a while now and got to known it well.
First of all is look and feel:
I have the green version which has a cool pattern on one side with the logo on the other. As the days have gone by this has started to come off a bit, but i think it adds to its charm.
As im sure you have seen the connector for the tank is sunk in on one side which makes it look a lot better than other box mods.
Another thing to note is that it is heavy, but dont let that discourage you from getting it. I have no problem lugging this about town.
Next is performance:
I can say that over the past few months i have had almost no issues with this device. It works as good now as the day i got it. And as it uses replaceable batteries I hoping this will last me a good few years.
I do, however, need to point out this product's Achilles heel, the battery door on the bottom. This thing is like the ventilation shaft of the death star. The vtr dropped out of my pocket at work and must have landed on the which has made it come loose slightly. This means the e fest batteries i used rattle and turn the device off and on again. Thankfully, i also had some pannasonic batteries and these seem to work fine.
So all in all a very good product but with on really poorly designed section which can possibly render the entire thing useless.
