Joyetech Ego One - 1.5 or 2.0 Ohm heads?

Hi all,

Firstly, I'm a new fella here so apologies if this is in the wrong section. :)

The postman knocked today with some vaping goodies, which included a Joyetech Ego One (Xi) 2200, 2.5ml. It's very impressive in some areas, but awkward to live with in others (like filling, or worse, trying to empty out no longer required juice).

The unit was probably a poor choice on my part - it was my first unit with coils with ohms lower than 1.5, and I've found that even the 1.0 ohm coil isn't really to my taste. The vape, whilst not being at all burnt, is too warm for my preferences. Also some of my high VG juices (PureVape) don't work too well in it (even after a long soaking time). I find that VG juices higher than 80% don't taste so great above 4v and are better suited to 3.7ish..... but the Ego One is locked at 4.2v, so the PureVape juice is tasting too hot, and harsh on the throat.

Anyway to get to the crunch, does anyone know if there are any coils available that will fit the Joyetech Ego One, with ohms at 1.5 or above?

Thanks in advance!

id just give it a couple of weeks with the 1ohm heads i reckon you will get used to them being a bit warm after a while. plus as the battery drops from full charge the vape should call down a bit if my logic is correct

Good point, yes, you're right, voltage does drop off with this battery as charge diminishes.

Not sure

Can you change the driptip I find using a drip tip with an air hole init makes a massive difference to the heat of your vape could be a cheap fix .worth a try.
