Every mix i do is clear, it doesn't matter to me as long as the flavour is right but out of interest, how do the pro's get their colours? And how can you with your own mixes.
I know most food colours are a no no in vaping.

The big ingredient is time. A mix that is almost clear could be rich yellow or deep red once it's steeped for a month or two. Bright green must involve colouring but I don't see how natural colouring has to be worse than chemical flavouring so long as it's a safe ingredient.

Some are down to the natural extracts used, eg berries,
Frequently Asked Questions - Gourmet E-Juice and E-Liquid - Las Vegas - Viny Vapes " A:*No! We don’t use any food coloring or preservatives. You’ll notice our e-liquid is perfectly clear; the only color comes from the natural food flavoring and nicotine adds an amber hue. Neon has a red color because of the natural berry flavoring added to give it the delicious fruit flavor. An interesting factoid is our flavor, Neon is the*exact*color of the element neon in a glass tube!"
others are food colourings, but as already stated, generally best to avoid...

I wouldn't get too hung up on colour. You'll find that the longer the juice hangs around the darker it will probably get. If you're making fruit flavours they probably won't change colour much at all.

E liquid when mixed starts off clear or close to it depending on concentrate's used,it's the length of time it's left to steep that gives it its colour,it also matures and can mellow out any harsh notes that's some concentrate's might impart to your ejuice [emoji3]
