Just One GP Paps

Oh yes, decided this eve, why not, my first mech wot I did physically own in mine hand, a GP Paps, the one with the funky logo, serial no.173, v2, but, with v2.5 lux button and contacts, 18350 polished ss body, with 18500, and 18650 lux bronze aluminium tubes, all pretty much perfect, apart from the button which has a few wee character dimples from wear on it, but it's general goldiness is only enhanced by such details, I would say that though.
This also comes with a spare set of lux contacts, inc. a button which shows you what happens if you try to polish gold coated buttons with brasso, don't do it, gold cleans itself, and if it needs a wipe, gently, with a wet jiffy. The spares also inc. a spare button spring, delrin battery buffer, and an dead ancient contact pole with a spring attached, if you feel like roughing it.

This is a set price I am selling it for, RRP is a bit difficult, as the 18350 tube is a classic v2, and everything else is v2.5 lux.
I think the v2.1 18350 is abouts £70 ish quid, but the lux 2.5 is about £87, each bronze aluminium tube is RRP £29.99.
What I am willing to sell this for is £135, special delivery and paypal included. If you want, PM me, if you don't don't, unless you have risque photos of Parisienne harlots undressing in the changing rooms of the swimming baths.

Me too! But some French saying about change, and everything I would hazard that this is still one of the best of the best, but it is only an object, any money made from this will go towards Romanian orphans not being kicked...by me!

Would you consider selling the two extra tubes separately and if so for how much? I've a 2.5 SS and wouldn't mind some spares/extra tubes.


I'm sure you would prefer not to split but unless everyone around here are reprobates and retards, this won't last long (best firing button I've ever played with) so the paps unit itself should sell. Because they are flipping brilliant.

It just seems a bit much to buy the whole lot only for it to sit idle as (another) spare and I'm sure someone will give it a home before long. Plus the wiflett may shout at me etc. As much as i'd love another whole spare paps I only really "need" (want) some spare tubes.

No dicking about, if we're both happy I'll do a bank transfer tomorrow to save Paypal fees etc.

You know what, I wouldn't mind at all, dumdumdum, let me see, £60, as I would only sell the 18500 & 18650 together, you wouldn't be getting a deal on them this way though, so it would probably be worth getting them brand new from Vapist.net for only about six quid more.

Yeah I did have a quick check to see what they did and didn't have in stock to be honest, and you're right, there's no real need for you to drop the price very far away from retail. I'll shut up and see how the sale fares, and have a chin scratch and stare at the bank balance in the morning while considering it.

No worries, to be fair, if I sell the tubes, it'd just give me more incentive to keep the paps, which is always awesome, and in that spirit, I would drop the price so that you would make a real world saving of a bit over ten quid, to only, let me seeee, £57, but still, that still looks expensive to me for a couple of tubes, awesome brass tubes admittedly, why do I spend my money on this gear?

Yep. I can't quite figure that out myself some days too. I'll have a ponder and we will wait and see if someone wants the job lot. I'd like a second paps, was I planning on buying one this week? No. Not really.

Someone do themselves a favour and snap up what is honestly one of the very best mech mods period.
