This review is my own opinion and does not reflect the view of POTV, manufacturers and vendors alike.

Vendor: Health Cabin (China)

Price: £23.59 (beware if you import from China you are subject to 20% vat in UK)

I know many were taken back by the KTS Storm and at the cost for that type of mechanical mod a must buy. Well I was not very inpressed with the knurly top and the 3 holes which looked like airflow control but were just battery vents, trying to give the cosmetic effect of the GG. Ok the Kamry KTS + or storm v2 is made up of 5 segments made of chrome plated brass I believe and pure brass (just to say I have the gold and silver version). The top cap is made of brass and is flat with a 510 connector but no ego skirt threading. The 510 connector sits flush with the top and although the center pin appears not to be adjustable the delrin insulator has some give in it so a slight adjustment can be made. The bottom cap appears to be mostly brass and inside you will find a brass spring welded to what appears to be an ss pin for the switch contact there appears to be ventholes in the bottom but they do not go anywhere so are not true vents. The vent holes are just above the side switch on the bottom telescopic section, the switch assembly is mostly brass with a SS locking ring and the contact pin inside is brass, tbh I wonder why they did not make the switch contact pin of brass as well to improve conductivity. The telescopic tubes are a little on the thin side but do feel semi sturdy, and the whole mod is polished appearance (a big fingerprint magnet). It is cabable of taking 18350 and 18500 batteries with a kick but not in 18650 mode (this mod is not designed to take stacked 18350s). Lets get on to performance, my only way of measuring loss is the vape quality and I do have to say that in low ohm and sub ohm(not for the beginner) the performance seems outstanding with an 18650 2250mah lasting about 16 hours at 1 ohm though this may vary with different brand batteries. One piece of good news for those who prefer to use IMR batteries is that you get a safety cutout fuse with this mod.

My conclusion. I have only had this mod for a week but I a impressed for a fully mechanical mod at this price its a bargain, my only points being the polished finish I would have preferred brushed just so I am not cleaning my fingerprints every 5 mins. The build is quite solid but I do feel the with a little more thought like the battery cap pin could have been made of brass. Overall I give build 7.5/10 performance 8.5/10 value 10/10. Some may think I am being conservative about the score but I am just trying to stop my bias on this review. I like this mod and it will not be neglected for use overall again I do recommend this mod just for its price and performance, the only real criticism is purely cosmetic. Thanks for taking time to read.
