Has any body has any luck with replacing the flavor wicks with organic boiled cotton

I used to rinse my coil heads and replace the flavour wicks, which extended the use. I recently watched this:-



It has made a vast improvement. Even if you don't wrap a new coil every time, just replacing the wick is great.
