Kanger SSOCC coils

The Kanger SSOCC coils are the Satinless Steel version of the Kanger OCC coils, hence the acronym, SSOCC. The wire used in these coils is made from Stainless Steel as opposed to the Nichrome used in the OCC coils. They also differ from the OCC coils in that they are smaller and cylindrical in shape and therefore take up less space/volume in the tank they are being used in, as opposed to the cuboid shaped OCC coils.


The SSOCC coils ship with the Nebox, Topbox and Subvod at the moment, with them likely to be introduced across all of kangers products at some point soon, in effect, replacing the OCC coils.

The SSOCC coils are backwards compatible and will work in any tank that currently takes the OCC coils.


Coil Ratings:

0.2 ohm – 20 – 70 watt – (direct lung inhale)
0.5 ohm – 15 – 60 watt – (direct lung inhale)
1.2 ohm – 15 – 25 watt – (mouth to lung inhale)


Warning: This Sub Ohm Coil is ONLY for the KangerTech SubTanks will fit no other Sub-Tank. You must be sure that your mod AND batteries can handle SUB OHM coils. If you’re using an electronic mod, make sure it can handle the amps. For mechanical mod users, please use 30 Amp batteries or higher. Use the OHMS LAW CALCULATOR, CHECK YOUR AMPS, and be safe!

[Major Hazzard]

Are you sure the wire is SS? I know there are some with SS wire and some Nichrome depends on the coil bottom seal ring colour.. is yours pink?
