Read up a little about the RBA for my subtank mini as I couldn't stop the dry hits! (Talking every 3rd/4th hit, not chain vaping this time!)

Found a new method that rather than the wick going straight through the coil and flush with the holes in the chimney you split them and bend them down to the deck, leaving the holes completely clear.

I was dubious as thought it might end up flooding but it's working perfect, taking upwards of 30W so far with far better flavour and not a dry hit in sight!

Anyone else used this method to wick or have any other techniques?

The only time I have got dry hits with mine has been with one specific juice, Element Fresh Squeeze, despite other Element juices being fine with it. Might try this next time I rebuild it, see if it works for me.

Yeah let me know how you get on, I was at the point of thinking about a new tank but glad I tried this method

Not a single dry hit from this technique yet and have been using regularly all day, normally I'd have had more than I could count on both hands (partly because I can't count when I run out of fingers) and give in and re-wick each night but still going good!

Using the rebuildable deck I never get dry hits.

Been chain vaping at around 32-34w, twisted kanthal 5 wraps 0.4 ohms. 80% VG juice

Hmm must have been my piss poor wicking, seems to be solved now

Also do you find yours spits at 30+? I've found pushing mine over 25 causes it to spit regardless of the ways I've tried to wick (70/30 juice)
