Kanthal vs Nicrome

Is there any difference between using kanthal or nicrome in a kayfun?

Of late its been Nichrome .. coz I have more of that .. so the law of chance says thats what comes out mainly

There are some thoughts that say the ( stealthvape correct me if I'm wrong!) Nickel content in Nichrome may cause issues with people that have a nickel allergy .. but then Kanthal contains Iron ... which can be equally allergic. It think its irrelevant - hence why I no longer give a crap which I use.. Ive never heard of anyone having a reaction to either in regards to atty wire.

I did notice (tho I havnt checked recently) that Nichrome seems to hold its Ohms better with less jumps .. but that could have just been me

My order of preference is Niobium then Kanthal and I don't use Nichrome as I get a metallic taste regardless of the atty...
I find Niobium handles the hot spots a bit better as I use the pulse method most of the time.

It may be just me being a bit strange but that's my findings after much experimentation.
All I need now is some Niobium ribbon and I'm in the sweet spot for mega clouds.

For me it's more ribbon vs wire - which is why I'm using kanthal A1 as its the only ribbon I have.

It works so I'm not buying something which might not.

Some people can taste the iron in Kanthal, others have an allergy to the Nickel in NiChrome. I think most people use kanthal as it's what people use and generally talk about on the forums. Nichrome is easier to work with undoubtedly.

There does seem to be something special about the niobium
