This review is purely my opinion, and no way reflects those held by this website www.planetofthevapes.co.uk

Vendor:- Cloud 9 Vapoing
Cost:- £99.99 + delivery.

Consists of:
Base unit, Engraved inner tank, 2 different length chimneys, semi clear poly tank, 2 SS outer tanks, beauty ring, top cap, drip tip, bag of spares and a Chocolate Eclair all in a posh Cloud 9 bag. .

Excludes:
Nothing apart from juice I guess!

Options:
None that I am aware of.

First some pictures, of all the bits you get and put together in it's various modes:

Long mode.

I've been itching to try either the kayfun 2.1 or 3.1 for a while now so when this became available I snapped it up!

Quality of construction is amazing, everything screws together perfectly. All components apart from the plastic tank are stainless steel as you would expect. Due to the size of the unit and my sh1t eyesight it was at first a bit fiddly to coil, the way around this for me was to leave plenty of coil loose to make wrapping around the terminals easy. I've been using 2 lengths of 2.5mm wick, one on top of the other, the top one cut short, like this:

Once the inner chamber is attached cut the excess off the longer wicks, like:

Then using a small flat screw driver push the wicks into the base of the inner chamber (but don't jamb them in) like this:

Vape production and flavour are flucking fantastic!!! and as you can adjust the air draw you can get it just about perfect for yourself.

I've been using this for about a week now, so here is my personal opinion:

Good:

I like the adjustable draw.
Good flavour.
Plenty of vape.
No leaks.
Value for money.....just.
You can re-build the heads.

Not so good:
Quite fiddly to work with at first.
Looks stupid in long mode.
Doesnt like being left in a hot car!

Possible improvements:

Make it a larger diameter and shorter......oh, hang on, that's the Kayfun 3.1!!

So, would I recommend them.............yes!.......... although I will probably be selling or trading this one!!.....let me explain.

Due to the juice I vape (Choc mint) I have to dry burn the wick at least once a day, with the Spheroid it was easy, take top off (no leaking) and dry burn, with this it's either loose some juice as you cannot get it all out, or wait until it needs refilling. And it's getting on my tits. Now this is now way a negative for the device, but more to do with the juice I love.

If anything changes I will add it the this "review" in the future.

Great review mate, complete and too the point with a nice personal touch regarding your personal requirements due to your main juice...
Nice wick build thanks for sharing.

Give yourself a pat on the back sir.

It's clear I'd need the 3.1 but I'm a bit unsure of being restricted as far as drip tip, it's one to ponder a while as it's a premium priced item.

So on the whole then ... you reckon the Spheroid is the better option ? for you persoanlly ?

The Spheroid for me is a better option.

Both are very, very good atties, similar vape and flavour production.

I think it's fair to say, compared to the Kayfun, the Spheroid is over priced though (for what you actually get).

Got to agree with everything you have said. I have the 3.1 and it is a cracking vape but it suffers from the same problem of needing a daily dry burn for my e-liquids of choice - my homemade banacake and coconut biscuit e-liquids.
I guess it is the sweetener bunging the coil, but hey I can live with it because
the kayfun just brings the best out of any flavour I put in.:2thumbsup:

Watched a Todds review of the 3.1 and the kit came with an adapter to use a 510 drip tip
