Double or single coils which is best

Sent from my iPad using Planet of the Vapes

It's pretty tight in there but a single microcoil with cotton usually gives great results, don't really see a need for two...

I've tried a dual coil in there. Came out at 0.7 ohms and was a bit of a beast. A bit tricky to get it on the build deck but not overly so .Even using 6mg liquid it was blowing my head off. I reverted back to a more sedate set up after a tank full

done both single and double. also tried a triple vertical coil in there too ( ouchies ). the best result for me in has been and stil is a single coil around 1.3 ohms ( just so i can use it on my vv/vw as well as mech . using cotton wick in an s shape with the coil angles at 45 degrees between the posts and the wick snakes down eitehr side to darw up the juice without blocking the channels

Two single stands of 2mm silica each with its own coil of 4 wraps 0.2 kanthal wire.

Twist the legs of the two coils together then trap them under the screws as normal. Spend a few minutes fiddling with the coils to get them glowing evenly.

Probably 10 minutes work rather than 2 minutes for my usual single coil.

There are other ways of doing this but they seem even more fiddly to me!

yeah ive done that, also the stacking version with one above the other and last but not least the cross.. 2 coils one at 90 degrees between the posts the second above going post to post! bastard thing to do and cause me no end of issues!

I'm out and about so relying on an iffy 3g nibble signal so can't really see your video but as a rule of thumb, many vv/vw devices won't fire coils below 1.2ohms, that territory belongs to mechs ;-)
