why is it my kayfun is vaping spot on, but when i fit my nano kit its dry hit city.
The reason i love my kfl so much is the fact that when i get a dry hit it means the tank is bone dry.
its ok with short mouth to lung hits, but i vape doing long, slow lung hits and its fine in full size mode, but nano mode will dry out by the end of a long hit, anyone know why?

Using cotton in my nanos and no dry hits at all. Not tried silica in them though.

I have to confess, I find the nano a little trickier to wick than the full size ones. I find you need to leave the juice channels uncovered. Maybe there is a smaller vacuum built up with the smaller chimney IDK. And thats with Muji cotton as well.

Might be wrong here but I was told never to cover the juice channels, and as of yet, I'm to get my first dry hit (that's done it now). The only setups I've done is the double navy nest with silica and straight muji coils where the cotton is pressed more against the side walls away from the juice channels.

All depends on the viscosity of the juice, quality of the juice channels if it's a clone and your wicking material...

The KFL struggles with lung hits due to the airflow.

If lung hits are your style but you like the Kayfun design, pick up an orchid V3.

Perfect deck with post holes, dual coil and tonnes of airflow :)

i have an orchid clone but its way to airy, the kayfun lite plus v2 with the airflow open all the way is perfect for the way i vape.
its only with the nano kit i get dry hits.

I've just been looking at, taking apart, assembling, looking at, taking apart, assembling, a KF with nano kit for the last few minutes, to see if any possible answer smacks me in the face.
I can't find one, other than that, with the nano kit fitted, you may need to have slightly less airflow to draw the juice in.

Horses for courses.

You think the orchid is airy and I think the Kayfun is tight.

For lung hits I find the orchid kicks the kayfuns ass but no good for mouth inhales.

The Kayfun is good for mouth inhales but for lung inhales feels like your trying to suck a watermelon through a straw :)
