Kayfun rebuilds

Hi can anyone give me some advice on what size kanthal wire and what size silica wick to use on my first rebuild,going to use a kayfun lite and a VV/VW VAMO V5 to start with then later move onto a mechanical mod I would like loads of vapour and good throat hit, and how long would each coil last for and could I do micro coils,cheers

.32 kenthal , 2mm micro coil, eight wraps comes to about 1.2 ohms. Then add some cotton wick but do not overstuff just enough to touch down either side in the well. I still go back to this setup as it just works .

i use 0.25 mm kanthal.. about 5 - 6 wraps and turns out to be 1 ohm.. i dont use silica.. organic cotton works awesome for me !

Looks good but hardly no vapour and no throat hit 10 wraps of .20 kanthal wire over a syringe needle, cotton wool wick . 1 coil light up brighter then the other on a dry burn any help pls

Now looking at it the more turns one side then the other bad skills

That's a lot crammed into a kayfun deck, I wouldn't bother dual coiling a kayfun too little space, everything appears to be touching in the pic, coil on coil, coil on posts. I'm surprised it isn't shorting like crazy, also 10 wraps of .2 gives me about 4ohm so dual would be 2 ohm which is too high if your using on a mech. A lot of the chamber is being filled with this build possibly blocking off a decent airflow

Similar to modestvaper here, .25mm 4 or 5 wraps, but I use 2mm ekowool.
