I don't think you will be able to. With the kick and the battery in the tube you won't be able to screw the base on. You will manage it with the smaller batteries providing the internal dIA of your tubes are big enough.

the sting will leave way too much gap on the switch but it is possible on the nem.....kick can be gotten from here cheaply though...also has free postage from darren so a gimme really

I can't use the kick ring with my efest flat tops, there wouldn't be a long enough throw to make contact with the battery. Without the kick ring, it works fine. You might have to file the kick down a bit to get it to fit in the tube, but it's no big deal.
