Kraken with cotton wick

So...

I bought a kraken rba to use with my Nemesis, then bought a load of wire mesh and built a nice little coil. Looked really good but had an awful chemical taste, I did a bit of reading, stripped the whole thing down and cleaned it. Still couldn't get rid of the taste so put in a new coil and a cotton wick - what a difference!!

Totally clean taste and lots of vapour, beats all my older tanks hands down And pretty easy to set up....

I would heartily recommend it to anyone interested in RBA's

I use cotton wick also in my Kayfun and makes my juices taste great. I also have a Kraken set up on my nemmy using ss mesh but would be interested to use cotton (mesh can be a right bugger sometimes). Did you build a micro coil? I would be interested to see a pic of your build Bbruce99

Yep, used a micro coil - I shall post a couple of pics when I get the chance, it was easier to set up the cotton than the mesh :-)

Slightly different build, used a tiger coil, comes in at 1.1 ohms - lots of vapour, taste and cotton wicks well :-)
its the first proper build I've made with that tiger coil, it is difficult to get the coils tight - gotta keep practising lol

Amen to the cotton. Works for me on any genesis. Just don't like the idea of the whole steel rope / mesh thing

Aye, the cotton wool certainly works, just a matter of getting the right amount of cotton in the tank so it doesn't get too tight as it expands
